As you might have noticed, the Sullivan Entertainment finally launched its streaming service Gazebo TV. There you can watch some of the beloved adaptations produced by SE, namely all four Anne films/miniseries, all seven seasons of Road to Avonlea, Happy Christmas, Miss King and first 13 episodes of the animated series, as well as other films and series. The second half of the animated series nor the 2005 animated film have not been uploaded yet (most likely because all the 8 non-released episodes are in the second half and according to SE they need to make a digital reconstruction).Â
Apparently there are two options – you can either buy the specific season/film for a bit higher price or you can rent it for lower price (I am not sure about this option, but you can likely watch only once or maybe it is available in your folder for shorter time). To make an example: buying all four Anne films or one season of Road to Avonlea cost 40 dollars, one Anne film is around 12–13, one RtA episode for 4 and one Annetoon episode is for 2.50.Â
I am not the only one who thought Gazebo TV would be based on monthly payments (like Netflix), which is why I am little bit disappointed because I do not want to pay 40 dollars to watch one season of RtA. However, it is also convenient because I need to watch only specific episodes of Annetoon (as I own the available DVDs) and I have the opportinity to buy only those I need.
