Evelina was born in 1865 in West Grafton, Prince Edward Island, to Mr. and Mrs. Bowman. She was raised there along with her sisters Charlotta, Julietta and Leonora. Julietta attended West Grafton school at the age of six, but she didn't finish it like her older sisters.
Working for Lavendar LewisEdit
In 1878, when she was thirteen, her older sister Julietta moved to Boston and Evelina became the third maid of Lavendar Lewis from the Bowman family. She came to live at Echo Lodge, and because she looked like her older sisters, Miss Lavendar called her Charlotta the Third. Three years later, she moved to Boston like her older sisters.
According to Lavendar Lewis, the four Bowman sisters looked similar and that was the reason why she called each one Charlotta. Since it is known that Evelina's sister Leonora had blonde hair, then Evelina very likely was also blonde.
