Barbara Shaw was the awkward girl of Anne's class while she taught at Avonlea School.

Early lifeEdit

The winter before she moved to Avonlea, Barbara visited her Aunt Mary and Uncle Joseph—the results of which were several disasters.

Attendance of the Avonlea SchoolEdit

Barbara had an unfortunate ability to not be able to walk up and down the aisles without tripping over something. Nonetheless, Anne was very kind to her. Barbara, along with the rest of the school, loved Anne.
