Avonlea Story Club was a club founded by Anne Shirley. Its members were supposed to write stories in their free time to improve their writing skills.

The club was founded by Anne Shirley when Ruby Gillis was forced to stay with the Cuthberts after the latter's family house burned down and was being reconstructed. Finally having another friend apart from Diana, Anne thought the club would cheer Ruby up. The members of the club met in a small abandoned shed in the woods and wrote short stories under their nom de plume.
